An Italian Story
As with many other Italian companies, the story begins with a family and a strong passion: the family is that of the Anselmo brothers, and the passion is for mechanics applied to pasta production.
1978
In 1978, Giovanni Anselmo decided to establish his own company with the aim of providing maintenance services to pasta factories operating both in Italy and abroad. The idea was not only to restore the original operating conditions lost over time due to wear or obsolescence of various components but also to improve the performance of existing lines by structurally intervening on the less efficient components or devices.
First 20 Years
During its first two decades of operation, Anselmo gained in-depth knowledge of the design characteristics and technology of pasta production plants.
The company experimented with innovative solutions on existing equipment, particularly those branded Braibanti
Late 1990s
In the late 1990s, Anselmo began constructing new pasta production lines, embracing the Braibanti philosophy—a world-leading manufacturer that had exited the market during that period. The core of Anselmo's mission became providing maximum added value to its clients, offering high-performance solutions at competitive prices compared to the most qualified competitors.
June 2019
In June 2019, Anselmo Impianti acquired FEN Impianti, a global leader in supplying industrial plants for the production of snack pellets, directly expanded snacks, breakfast cereals, instant flours, gluten-free pasta, and, more generally, extruded products derived from milled flours. This strategic acquisition enabled Anselmo to expand its technologies in the food sector with a new range of products closely related to pasta, as they originate from the cereal transformation chain.
The shared goal of Anselmo and FEN is to become a benchmark for food producers seeking high-quality, 100% Made in Italy plants, offering excellent reliability and productivity.
October 2019
In October 2019, LTA also became part of the Anselmo Impianti Group. LTA has distinguished itself in the design, construction, and installation of machinery for the production of special dry pasta formats, such as nests and lasagna, as well as semi-automatic production lines. This strategic acquisition enabled Anselmo to broaden its technological offerings in the industrial dry pasta sector, providing solutions for special products like nests and lasagna. The primary goal of this operation is to offer clients—whether already operating in the pasta sector or planning to enter it—a more extensive and comprehensive range of equipment, along with support in developing high value-added products.
January 2022
Anselmo Group continues its growth and significant expansion. In January 2022, Omar Impianti was established with a 70% stake, as a special-purpose company to develop an operation similar to that of Fen Impianti. This was achieved through the leasing of business operations from Omar Macchine Automatiche S.r.l., a Bologna-based company active in the field of machinery and automatic systems for the production and distribution of ravioli machines, sheeters, mixers, and tortellini machines.
October 2024
In October 2024, the Anselmo Group announced the integration of Facchini Impianti S.r.l. into its organization. This milestone marks a significant advancement in the Group's strategy of expansion and innovation, further strengthening its market position and representing a valuable opportunity to enhance its offering of cutting-edge solutions.
Facchini Impianti, with 65 years of experience in the fresh pasta machinery sector, brings a wealth of expertise and skills that seamlessly align with the Anselmo Group's mission. Their product range includes kneading machines, sheeters and extruders, cutting devices, rolling mills, and single and double sheet forming machines.
The Best Plants for Pasta Production
Anselmo's philosophy is based on building extremely reliable systems that meet the highest expectations of the pasta industry:
- High-quality pasta production is achieved immediately, from the very first minutes of plant operation.
- Production capacity exceeds the levels guaranteed in the contract.
- Maintenance is virtually nonexistent during the first 10 years of the plant's life.
- Energy consumption is lower compared to that of competitors.
Thanks to these features, Anselmo plants are now recognized as the most reliable in the sector, capable of providing the highest profitability for the capital invested.
